This walking tour will feature a crash course in the history of standup comedy. Our roving comedy guides are knowledgeable and experienced not only as tour guides but as comedians as well. The tour will consist of a brief introduction to the history of comedy while walking through the epicenter of the world famous Greenwich Village neighborhood where stand up was born. We will point out some of the historic comedy and local sites while providing tour goers with antidotes about some of the world’s most famous comics. There may also be some neighborhood treats. The tour will end at an authentic NYC standup comedy show where people will then be provided with a map of all the participating bars/restaurants where you can go after the show to do your own pub crawl.  You need to be well enough to stand/walk for about 30 mins around NYC. DURATION OF TOUR + SHOW: Up to 3 hours.
